She founded avertua in 2003 to provide small business owners and entrepreneurs with all-around support to make their lives easier and businesses more productive. With a background in design and writing -- and an awesome team who can do just about anything -- Alyssa partners with her clients in very unique ways ... and has a lot of fun while doing it.
The Team
Alyssa loves a team environment and considers herself a "team-builder," focusing on creating a collaborative approach to running her own business, solving her clients' problems and creating knowledge-sharing resources for all kinds of small business owners.
The Work
She has written a book, developed collaboration resources, and currently writes for several websites. With the support of her husband, Alyssa typically has a handful of new projects in the works at any given time, and she focuses on them in between running her business, freelance writing, starting conversations on social networks, blogging and raising three kids.
